I agree with others honey..if you want your hair to grow faster…you have to STOP straightening your hair..at least until you reach the necessary length you are looking for…
It damages your hair even if you use a ton of heat protective products..
Having a bath every other day is a good routine because over washing your hair can dry-out the hair.
Taking in a balance diet and getting adequate sleep will help, too
Routines you can follow
You can give yourself a hot oil treatment once or twice a week. Try to use natural oils (Coconut oil, King coconut oil, Castor oil, Extra *censored* olive oil, Jojoba oil)
Don’t heat the oil putting it into a container. Put oil into a small glass bottle and place it inside hot water container…take it out after few minutes and apply it straight to your hair roots. Message the scalp for few minutes and wrap your hair with a towel. Let it stay like that for about an hour or two. Then wash it off using a shampoo.
Apply a hair mask once a week from good brand.
Use a bore bristled hair brush as it can minimize hair breakage
Massage your scalp while you are bathing
Avoid or minimize harsh treatments like dyes, tints, bleaches, straightening, curling…etc
Take a multivitamin and eating iron-rich food such as tofu, lentils, beans, oysters, spinach, prunes, raisins, lean beef
Take in Vitamin C to help your body absorb the kind of iron that is found in vegetables
Things I thought will be useful for you to know…:)
Hair growth tends to increase during the warmer months
Some medications might affect hair growth
Changes in hair growth caused by hormonal shifts
Chlorine can damage the hair

You should only straighten your hair once or twice a week if you want you’re hair to grow faster.
wow, i have a lot of lifestyle corrections for you , especially because they are generated by the false belief it will help your hair’s health and growth, but i won’t do that because that’s not what you asked.
seriously now, if you’re trying to make your hair grow faster, i am sorry to say this but you shouldn’t straighten you hair at all!
straightening the hair with an iron or blow dryer often, will only make your hair develop more burned ends and that will not only slow the growth, but will damage your hair’s quality and vitalness.
i suggest embracing the natural way, and if you can’t live without your straightening regimen, then try to keep it to a minimum, only when there’s an important event, a date, or something of that nature…
You should do it less often probably. Flat ironing that often could damage your hair. My advice would be to find some protective hair styles (ie. buns, ponytails) to suit your hair texture on days that you don’t flat iron. Try to reduce it to 1-2 weekly. Some other tips to encourage hair growth is to take prenatal vitamins, massage your scalp, and deep condition a couple times a month.
Okay, don’t blow dry your hair; shower at night, and leave it to dry naturally over night. For the days your hair is greasy/not looking its best, try putting it up in a messy bun. If you don’t know how to do messy buns, youtube it;-). Maybe straighten your hair twice a week? If you must straighten it more, i suggest buying a conditioning treatment to reduce damage. Try Aveda damage therapy, i use it, it’s amazing! Also, although this may defeat the object of growing your hair out, make sure to keep getting hair cuts. With lots of split ends, your hair will hardly grow. Trust me, getting regular trims helps lots. I don’t think lots of heat is good for your hair.
Only you can determine the condition of your hair.
Some people can take more heat, and others get damage from excessive heat.
I think less is best when it comes to heat on your hair if you want it to grow.
If you’re trying to grow your hair, don’t straighten it, it’s fries it.
Yeah you should stop doing that, limit your straightening to once to twice per week. A lot of heat on your hair causes split ends and that means you’ve got to cut it more. Oh and I don’t know if you’re doing this already but in that healthy diet include leafy vegetables they contain Iron and calcium that helps hair folicles to grow and also helps to produce sebum which makes your hair shiny and healthy like spinach, carrots…uh I cant think of any more good luck
